Gaus are, simply, prayer boxes. In these gaus the back simply pops out, meaning they are not hinged. Sizes vary, but most are 3/4"-1" long. This is a very common type of gau worn by the Tibetans. These are handmade, so each varies slightly. and it is very hard to show one example of the stone's shape in it's setting.
