TRISHNA JEWELRY designs reflecting Balinese Vedic iconography are shown below! On ghis page we feature what we call our "BALI SAUCER OM". These OMS come from the Karen Tribe and are Hill Tribe Silver, shown right, and Vermeil, shown left. They are hand-made, and so they range from 3/4-inch to 7/8-inch.

OM, OR AUM

The seed syllable OM comes to the Tibetans from the Vedic/Hindu tradition. It is the primordial sound of creation, and all sounds are said to emanate from it. In the Tibetan tradition it is, among other things, a concrete manifestation of the visible truth or absolute within.

Gaus are small prayer boxes made to be worn on the body, a little like Prayer Flags. One places one's mantra or prayers inside and the vibrational movement of the body is said to put the prayer into motion!
