IT'S A SCAM!

TRISHNA JEWELRY is being used by foreigners as a scam! We have never and will never send unsolicited mail to any person who has not approached us, and we have heard from some people that they were contacted by spammers who are trying to extort money from them. You can read below to hear the first letter that was sent to me by someone who supposedly worked for me. Thankfully, the college student was smart enough not to give any information to the people spamming her, and reported it to me. I reported it to the FBI.

YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE MONEY TO ANYONE WHO HAS ANY SOB STORY ON THE INTERNET. YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE INFORMATION TO ANYONE ON THE INTERNET OR ON THE PHONE UNLESS YOU CAN VERIFY WHO THEY ARE. IF YOU HAVE BEEN ASKED FOR INFORMATION OR HARASSED BY PHONE, YOU SHOULD CONTACT YOU LOCAL POLICE AND ASK THEM WHO TO CONTACT. IF YOU HAVE BEEN CONTACTED OVER THE INTERNET AND ASKED FOR INFORMATION OR MONEY, REPORT IT TO THE INTERNET CRIME COMPLAINT CENTER, WHICH IS A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN LOCAL CRIME AUTHORITIES AND THE FBI.

The following letter is an example of a common scam, and the one in which Trishna's name was used. Remember, no one by this name worked or works for us, and no one ever has, and no one from Trishna would ever spam anyone. Note the use of an incorrect name, because our name does not sue "COMPANY". ALSO NOTE THAT HE IS ASKING YOU TO ACCEPT PAYMENTS FOR HIM.

"Hi,
My name is MARVIN BROWN, I am 30 .I am an European guy with a Great Ambition in Life.I was in the France with my father before he passed away on Sept 25th.
In his life time he was a very successful entrepreneur who dealt mostly in gifts of nature and their derivatives like Gold and golden jewelry to jewelers and jewelry designers, he was also into the supply of watches, bracelets, wedding rings and gemstones-based jewelry to stores in the France and Europe and I acted as his marketing manager in the France.
Before he died he bought a house, a four bedroom house in the France( Paris ) where I stayed together with him because of the peaceful nature of the area which was a warm neighborhood and also an environment that is conducive.
I happen to be the only child my father had, and as such the property falls to my inheritance after his death. I have also resolved to continue with his line of business since he already had a large number of loyal customers in the France.
I will be getting married to an American woman who is based in New York USA and I know that after my wedding, my visits to the France will be entirely unnecessary, if not outright impossible. Now I do not wish to rent out the house and I don't also want to sell it because it's my inheritance and as such I believe that I shouldn't sell it, as a mark of respect to my late dad.
Therefore, I am looking for somebody who is honest and trustworthy and at least averagely clean for 2 specific reasons:
1.To help maintain the house while I am away and
2.To help me receive payments [mostly in form of checks, money orders and/or wire transfers to your bank account] from the clients/customers within the France, on my behalf in his/her name, and have them cashed and then wire the cashed funds back to me here in New York, USA. You do not have to pay me a dime for the accommodation as I stated earlier. It's just for the purpose of keeping the business alive in the France.
If you want to keep this assignment as a job, please reply ASAP let me know so I can allocate 5% on each payment that you receive, that is ;if at all you don't want to live in the house, or if you live too far from the house.....
The house is a excellent piece of abode with clean bathrooms, walk-in closet, a gym, and all rooms come furnished with electronics.
