TRISHNA JEWELRY is a small enterprise in the Pacific Northwest that designs jewelry for men and women who want to keep their spiritual love close to their heart.  Ornamentation with meaning, ours is timeless jewelry made with ethnic elements, spiritually inspired with iconography from all the spiritual traditions, which can be worn with jeans, a sari, or that little black dress.   Many pieces are one-of-a-kind!  Dressed up or dressed down, or layered to create a bold and striking look, they are wonderful!

Our line started with TIBETAN BUDDHIST, ZEN BUDDHIST, and VEDIC (Indian-Hindu) iconography, and moved to include the GODDESS in all her forms.  Our JEWISH and CHRISTIAN iconography is being designed presently, but some iconographic pieces are already up, and new pieces are added all the time. 

We have a line for MEN, which Katie's husband Mitchell has great influence over, which features medallions and deities geared to men, and a longer length of 24-inches (though some women also like the longer length).  PLEASE, ASK US, AS WE WILL BE HAPPY TO DESIGN ANY PENDANT INTO A MEN'S NECKPIECE!

We create custom pieces for both men and women, and if a woman wants a longer length, we will try to accommodate her needs if we have the available beads, or if she is willing to wait while we do a special order.  If you have an old medal or sentimental piece that you would like to update to wear, we do SPECIAL ORDERS, and turn your old piece into one that you will want to wear!

"Trishna" is Sanskrit, meaning "longing, desire, thirst" and "a longing that arises through contact between a sense organ and a corresponding object."    (From the Shambhala Dictionary of Buddhism and Zen, a most excellent reference!) 

It is our intention to direct that longing toward an object of devotion,
to be worn close to your heart!

Our company is committed to environmental protection, and as such does not use various times that may be banned in many countries, though fine to purchase in the USA.  If yousee any coral on our site, it has been procured from necklaces bought at junk shops and antique stores.  For more information on specifics of our "bans", on  Gemstones, or how to care for your jewelry, click here.  These decisions are difficult to make sometimes, and we welcome input from our customers.
